What is the CBD?

CBD is the second most important molecule in cannabis, a plant containing many different cannabinoids. Unlike THC, which is the psychoactive ingredient in cannabis, CBD (cannabidiol) is a non-psychoactive cannabinoid that does not cause adverse effects. In fact, CBD has antipsychotic effects that work in a completely different way than THC.

The growing interest of the general public in CBD has made it possible to highlight another aspect of the plant: its health benefits. This movement to discover the therapeutic virtues of cannabis has been going on for many years because marijuana is now cultivated for its medicinal properties in many European countries (such as Germany, Great Britain, Spain and Italy), as well as in several American states and Canada. What is called medical or therapeutic cannabis, as opposed to so-called "recreational" cannabis, is one expression of this approach. Behind the term medical cannabis are cannabinoids, the chemical compounds naturally present in the plant that interact with our bodies to provide various therapeutic effects.

Moreover, the benefits of CBD are considered to be very advantageous because they do not have the psychotropic effects of THC. The CBD would thus make it possible to relieve pain and inflammation, but also to reduce anxiety, stress, or stimulate the appetite. Moreover, as presented in a 2017 WHO report, CBD does not present a proven health risk or addiction. A more comprehensive list of the positive effects of the CBD is presented in the graphic below.

How to consume CBD?

From e-liquids to oils to cosmetics, there are many ways to consume CBD, depending on individual preferences and desired effects. Broadly speaking, there are three ways to consume CBD:

  1. Inhalation, vaporization: be it with e-liquids, crystals.
  2. By ingestion, as in the case of consumption of sublingual oils, infusions, or sweets.
  3. By anointing as in the local application of creams.

Because of the qualitative and ethical approach of Perfect Time®, we aim to offer you a certain art of living thanks to products that allow you to take care of yourself and live quality moments.
Within this ethical framework, Perfect Time® does not offer e-liquids or crystals that have no therapeutic virtues, but only flowers, oils, infusions or creams that allow everyone to relax, share quality moments or get together. It's up to you to explore the different Perfect Time® products, to enjoy the richness and refinement of the CBD with the consumption patterns that best suit your needs.

Consuming CBD can have different effects depending on the administration method chosen, but it is always preferable to consume it in moderation, responsibly and elegantly. As far as dosages are concerned, these depend not only on the persons concerned but also on the intended uses.

Here is some information on the dosage of CDB with sublingual oils:

cbd anxiety

Anxiety / Stress

2.5 to 15 mg

/day by oral route

cbd pain

Chronic pain

2.5 to 25 mg

/day by oral route

cbd sleep

Sleep Disorders

40 to 160 mg

/day by oral route

Finally, as a precautionary principle, we strongly advise pregnant women not to take CBD and remind you that the sale of our products at the CBD is forbidden to minors under 18 years of age.

How does the CBD operate?

Many scientific experiments show that cannabinoids act in the same way as endocannabinoids in the body. However, unlike THC, CBD has no psychotropic effects and is only consumed for its therapeutic virtues.

At Perfect Time®, we are committed to quality, moderate consumption, experienced as an art of living. We wish to propose products rigorously selected in order to fight as much against psychosomatic pains as against the contemporary evils of our societies.

The main challenge is to be with oneself, or with loved ones, for a unique moment.

cbd skin

on the skin

When used on the skin, CBD can act as an anti-inflammatory agent and treats rashes, acne and inflammation, and it is recommended that the cream be applied to the area in question.

This works especially on the knees, elbows and hands. Scientific studies show that CBD can also be used to fight skin tumours or cancers, stopping the growth and spread of cancer cells.
Finally, hemp also has antibacterial properties that can fight MSSA (a bacterial infection that is responsible for a large number of health problems due to its resistance to many antibiotics).

swallow cbd

by ingesting it

CBD swallowed in the form of oil is generally composed of olive oil or hemp oil accompanied by CBD; and sometimes terpenes. Some oils contain only CBD, others also contain terpenes, flavonoids and cannabinoids, but are devoid of THC for marketing in France and Europe. Oils are mainly consumed sublingually.

For greater effectiveness, place a few drops of oil under your tongue and wait 90 seconds before swallowing. The oils can also be applied to a food or incorporated into a recipe for those who do not appreciate their sometimes very vegetal taste (this nevertheless reduces the effects of CBD).
